I am delighted to introduce myself, Pastor Lijin Babu, the dedicated shepherd leading the congregation at IPC Hebron Dwarka. Born and raised in a Christian Jacobite family in a place called Mylapra, in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, my spiritual journey has been marked by a deep devotion to God and a calling for ministry.

Early on in my life, my mother embraced the Pentecostal belief, paving the way for me to encounter the Lord. At the tender age of 11, I wholeheartedly accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and experienced the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit, manifesting in the gift of speaking in tongues.

Eager to further nurture my faith and answer God’s call, at the age of 12, I embraced water baptism, symbolizing my commitment to follow Christ. I pursued theological studies at the esteemed Kerala Theological Seminary in Kottarakkara, where I obtained my B.Th. and M.Div. degrees from 2004 to 2009. It was during this period that I embarked on a journey to establish a church in Perunadu, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, as a testament to my passion for spreading the Gospel.

Subsequently, I served as a pastor, warden, and manager at the same seminary, diligently imparting biblical wisdom and guiding the spiritual growth of those under my care. I furthered my academic pursuits, undertaking a P.G. course under IPC Kumbanad in 2010-2011.

In 2011, I entered a blessed union with Sis. Shiji, who hails from a traditional Pentecostal family in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. Together, we have been blessed with two beautiful children, Anugraha and Nehemiah, who bring joy and fulfillment to our lives.

Throughout my pastoral journey, I have faithfully served in various churches across different locations. I shepherded the congregation at IPC Rajasthan State briefly in 2011 before returning to Kerala due to family health concerns. From 2011 to 2013, I ministered in IPC Udumbanchola area, Idukki district, Kerala. Post that, from 2013 to 2019, I lovingly guided multiple churches under IPC Mannur Centre, demonstrating my commitment to nurturing faith communities.

In 2019, I relocated to Delhi to assume the role of pastor at IPC Shalom Chattarpur Church under IPC Delhi State. After four years of wholehearted service, I was transferred to our church, IPC Hebron Dwarka, in 2023, where I continue to lead our congregation with wisdom, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to the Lord’s ministry.

My ultimate aim is to faithfully fulfill the ministry entrusted to me by the Lord Jesus Christ. With my deep love for God and genuine care for God’s people, I endeavor to guide and inspire our church community to grow in faith, unity, and service.
